Today we had issues with deliveries of e-mail to our servers were rejected. The cause of this was a third party spam filter service from Spamcop/Cisco. This is a service we perform lookups against to determine whether or not to accept an e-mail. The domain name used for this service (spamcop.net) had due to an error expired, and this caused all our lookups against it, to reply that we should not accept the e-mail, and they were then rejected. It seems this problem started around 11:00 sunday morning. We removed the use of this spam filter service from our own servers at around 14:10. Deliveries of e-mail to our servers in this time period have most likely been rejected, and sent back to the sender. E-mail after this time, should have been delivered as normal.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
