The Catch-All email functionality is being removed

For a long time we've had an email functionality called "Catch-All" available. This allows you to capture emails to non-existing addresses, and have them delivered to a selected address. This functionality will now be removed from our servers. When it is removed, any email sent to non-existing addresses will be rejected. Very few of our customers are using this functionality, and it has several disadvantages.

All email sent to regular email accounts, aliases, forwards, mailing lists, auto replies, and others that are explicitly created will work as normal.

Customers that are using Catch-All and regularly receive emails that way, that they still want to receive, must now create specific email accounts or aliases/forwarders for those addresses. We will also contact customers with Catch-All active directly.

See Mail: Create forward/alias for more information on how to create forwarders.

If you have any questions regarding this, contact us at hallo@nordhost.no.

31.03.2023 14:00 - The function "Catch-All" is removed from the client area

Access to the function "Catch-All" in the client area has now been removed, and a few weeks after Easter the function will be removed from our servers. Those who use this function now, must create alias/forwarding as soon as possible for the e-mail addresses that are in use.
